I don't like anymore many of the people I knew one time...some of the buddies around here seems changed a lot. They are now lazy people who stay always at the bar drinking and rarely they want to do something different. I feel the need to change some friendships. Knowing and meeting new people. I don't like anymore a lot of people that I used to be a very close fellating lover.
Some friends went on a trip in these days and I don't understand why they didn't told me (we didn't fight or anything else)
I'm sad now, I'm serious.
happened to you the same feelings and thoughts??

I did a full changeout in 2007 of all the old shit that had accumulated around me and I've never looked back. People change, lives move on in the inexorable crawl towards the ultimate enlightenment that is DEATH
Don't feel bad AOD it's part of the journey.

It seems like people have too many expensive habits and emotional hangups and sensitivity issues that really keeps them from developing fully as humans. I hate befriending new people, hoping for a solid splendid mate of mine that isn't swayed by petty shit, and being disappointed later to find out that they are morally flawed in some way or that their character isn't quite as well-defined as an individual ought to be.
I cleared away some of the old lumber recently. These were people who I would have considered a couple of years ago to be my closest. Ofcourse, this severing was not without incident, but I have reached that phase in my existence where 'drama' no longer lingers on once the decision is made. At most, some bitterness lasts for a day, followed by supreme calm and rationality. And then I move on without looking back. I am proud of my strong will.
Friendship is not everlasting. We entertain the same fantasies with it as we do with 'love'. We are raised on these fantasies. My view is that ultimately, friendship involves a 'base' of selfishness and mutual benefit upon which a superstructure of supportive emotions, love, kindness, generosity and amicability is constructed. Remove this base of mutual benefit and the whole superstructure comes tumbling down.
In conclusion, one has to move forward. Everything else rearranges itself around you. And then you have to play with those cards as they keep shuffling.

I've more or less moved countries every 4 years my whole life, and I haven't kept in touch with old schoolmates/co-workers. I'm fairly used to getting complete new sets of acquaintances every so often. I guess you could say its interesting to meet different people but in my case its turned me into a cold, detached cunt that can't relate to almost everyone I meet, much less make good friends. The whole moving thing is going to be happening a lot more frequently now too. But for the past couple of years one thing hasn't changed: MABB.

Maybe it's the caffeine, but that is an amazing analogy.
Many of my friends moved away. I still have some great old friends and I meet new people through my old friends and my girlfriend. One of my best friends who lives in Ireland now visited her parents this month and we had a great time.
i went back home over the weekend after being gone for a few weeks
i didn't feel any connection, i didn't feel at home. everyone i knew is still doing the same exact thing they were doing when i left. the friends i had there i didn't really look forward to seeing. drug addicts and losers.
My high school friends are still my closest friends and we still keep a tight circle even after almost 10 years of friendship. Sure some folk in the circle have come and gone and most of us rarely see each other nowadays due to everyone being busy at work or with their girlfriends/boyfriends but we make sure we get together whenever we can and it's as if nothing's changed and we're still in high school. The thing about my high school crowd is that most of us are quite acquainted with each other even those in the higher or lower batches even up to now which is why it's normal for us to hang out with folk from the higher or lower batches, usually talking about stories that never get old.
In my college, I basically just go to school, park my car, go to class, head straight for the car afterwards and go home. I don't really make it a point to even try to socialize in college. I made a few friends there but I really don't socialize with them outside the campus or anything like that.
