Canadian extreme metallers CRYPTOPSY will release their new self-titled album later in the year. The cover artwork was created by Mircea Gabriel Eftemie (MNEMIC) and can be seen below.

well that could be in contention for the title as well, but i've never listened to it. naturally, i did not take that into consideration when i wrote that sentence!

however bad it was though, metallica already had a pretty good stable of disappointments built up, so it wasn't exactly out of character or anything.

while i am a fan of clean production, i always loved cryptopsys rough, dirty, production. this doesn't sound too bad but doesn't sound nearly as chaotic as it could.

That sounds killer.

The clean production is down to their other guitarist Chris Donaldson, who produced their last couple of albums and is a big fan of new technology. I dont anticipate a rough, dirty sounding album from Cryptopsy any time soon.

Fuck, man flo's drumming is unreal.
