Pain Divine definitely sounds frightening and sinister

pain divine :thingy:

woah i just listened to the vid. yah their similar, not the same, but similar. pretty coo anywhoo.
Treys solo tone actually sounds a bit thin to me on Domination. It's definitely got a wah sound to it, even if he's not moving it with food it sounds like he has it turned on.
Cool stuff, it's pretty weird you posted this because I was getting some files together to post about backwards stuff and MA. And there is a weird link between certain albums, etc. I'll post a new thread soon! By the way, did you down pitch pain divine, like a step and a half? it sounds detuned from the Eb tuning on the album.

We used to play around with those riffs alot. When we covered those songs

When played backwards the Pain Divine riff is 99% the same as Visions. Only in a different position on the neck.

From the beginning of Immortal rites, I suspected that Trey had a thing for reversing riffs, more than just the intro.

In a period of 2 decades he must've written hundreds of riffs so reversing is one way to go..

Visions From The Dark Side has one of my favourite riffs.
