Thinking strongly about returning to TX next year

Post by Grudge »

Yea I'm not really liking it much in AZ.

1. Hot weather. I beat the worst of it by arriving in the state in October, but I'm really not looking forward to summer next year.
2. Economy does not seem as strong as TX
3. My boss at the company I work for is really hard to deal with.

If you're gut is telling you to move back, I say do it sooner than later instead of spending more time there and then regretting it later

There are two things I need to consider before bailing, 1) ensure that my apartment lease in AZ concludes or is taken care of, 2) I find a job in TX, maybe in Dallas. The feedback I've been getting from my employer is that they are very happy with me, but what they don't know is that I don't feel the same way about them, because my supervisor is a pain in the ass.

arizona has some pretty regions but none of them are anywhere near phoenix, and phoenix is a gigantic sweaty asshole unfit for human occupancy

Well avoid the east coast and most of the southern us for a large chunk of the year.

Humidity is a horrendous cunt

Yea, the weather in Netherlands (if that's where you are), is soooo much better than Dallas Texas. Cloudy, grey, rainy, gloomy. Yea, your home town is a real paradise of sunshine and great weather.

You're taking an assessment of Texas weather from Skinner of all people, who's from California where they have a fucking drought, it doesn't rain, so any other place on earth is going to seem more humid to him.

I love grey days and rain, storm, thunder, etc.

But the last couple weeks summer really set in. Not too hot today but super sunny.

I just really hate humidity.

:gaylol: not sure where that came from.

I wasn't aware you were trying to be funny. Actually, it's never clear when you're joking or not. You're the one that seems uptight without a sense of humor.

If you're frustrated about your current job situation, don't take it out on others.

I hope you'll find something in Texas and enjoy your life there.

I do think that Dallas seems like a cool place.
