Gas stations in your area

Post by shadowalk »

These are what we have here:

Shell
Caltex (same company as Chevron in the US)
Total
Unioil
and more savage local brands

Shell seems to be the most numerous here. You can literally find them anywhere and they’d almost always have a 24/7 convenience store like 7-11 and sometimes even a Starbucks or a Tim Horton’s in the same lot.

there are about 20 in my town, shell being the most common. they are all almost identical inside tho, i wonder if yours are similar to those in the us. they are basically little grocery stores with some serving hot food.

the trucker gas stations along the highways are kind of neat, they usually have restaurants attached, showers, clothes, etc

I’m inclined to believe that they are. A particular Caltex (Chevron) comes to mind - that one is placed on the main highway leading to the southern vacation spots and it’s got a convenience store where you can buy condoms and female napkins. :alien: There’s also food stalls that sell hotdogs, dimsum, and noodles/fried rice in takeout boxes. There’s also a Starbucks and a KFC in the same lot.
