i've toyed around with the idea of starting a nicely formatted site that's just for reviews. i can't write for shit though. i think i mentioned this idea on mabb once, just bored ideas.

i love metal archives though wish it could be a little modernized

most fruital post ever - 98%

stormy’s post is something else and I've been reading posts in general for a long ass time. as a teen I read a lot of posts, did a lot of postwhoring and talked to similar ppl to stormy. so I no this stormy’s post is right up my alley. it has the strong death aspect to it that I've always enjoyed, sometimes even pushing the boundaries of what I would be willing to put into a purely "post" or "whore" listing. he is faster and angrier than typical for mabb, it really is pushing against the boundaries in a good way. even at its heaviest stormy’s post has like the overall feel of the cowboy horse and still conveys brooding and despair, it's not straight up bravado.

stormy clearly taking inspiration from quite a few genres with this post. it alternates between harsh and true with influence from doom and a healthy dose of metallic cuntage akin to dusto or jorsh thrown in to keep it fresh. this might throw a lot of metal enthusiasts off, but it works really well, it reminds me of older postwhores like dk at times.

The words are solid, for the most part it's variations on death, with layers to great effect. one of the biggest ways this post differs from the rest within the genre is that its focus is on brevity and aggression. it does not want to let up and if it does, it's for a short amount of time to build up the power to rip your face off all over again. this is stormy post with blast beats and it's beautiful.

this post of stormy’s is exactly where I want the future of postwhore to be going and I could not be more excited for the next post.

stupendously baffling album heralding the end of a glorious era - 10%

i shan't retread all the myriad reasons we all love luke's early work, for it is too obvious to us all. and indeed that is what makes this execrable offering so profoundly insulting. what happened in this post is an artistic travesty, on par with CELTIC FROST'S Cold Lake or THE TRUE MAYHEM'S A Grand Declaration of War. it reminds me of last week, whenst i was laboring away in the midst of a double at the local VII-XI establishment, and a gentleman of the older persuasion was perusing the slushie offerings - and after much deliberation, thought to combine every option available. my gods, man, what were ye thinking?! clearly, neither one did very much of it at all, to say the very least, of course. and therein lies the problem - when one throws it all at the proverbial wall to see what might "stick", whether one is composing treats or posts, the wall stares back unto thee - what we have here is a confusing mess, utterly bereft of coherent meaning, because it has everything and thus has become nothing. and there is really nothing else to say about this fuckpile of disappointment that calls itself a post. at the end of the day, one is either a poster or post, and it goes without saying that this latest offering from the once-illustrious luke, has cemented him as post and that he is no longer a poster, indeed. this may well be the foulest example of the genre we have seen in aeons and perhaps it will serve as a warning to all henceforthwith.
