Here is a nice goal by Smolarek. He would later play in the dutch league, he was popular

That '86 world cup was the first tournament I followed actively. Though play was mostly at night, my dad would leave me notes with scores :flowers:

Belgium was a surprise success, good times

Poland was close to the '74 final and we could have all had a good time if not for those f*cking germans
