I don’t really mind the strains when I get them from my dealer as the high is all the same to me but Purple OG is what i have right now and it works as expected.

I haven't smoked weed regularly for a very long time, but when the hype over strains came out it struck me as more of an underground word of mouth marketing ploy than anything. And for obvious reasons. It still isn't widely legal here, but you have to get the word out there somehow.

I used to smoke about half a bowl just before bed because it was the best way to deal with insomnia and lack of appetite. That routine worked like magic. Then there was this weird push to get the most potent product out there (at least around my parts) and at that point I was done because I was experiencing tons of anxiety and paranoia from the heightened effects. Friends of mine were having fun, but it just wasn't for me.

I tried CBD oil for a while but it didn't do anything useful. But life goes on. Maybe I'll get lucky and someone will scam me with a bag of shake and I can sleep well once again

i just can't get back into it, the last two chapters i provided have been met by serious, serious bad vibes. read this email from my supervisor:

Luke, you need to take some time to pause and reflect on how things have gone thus far and the reasons that Carly has had to withdraw from active involvement at this juncture. Actually her involvement was well beyond what was asked of her but she committed to assisting you at this point thinking that we would see evidence of a change in your stance, let's say, in relation to your research and writing that would then make a significant difference to the drafting of chapters that follows. Our idea, strategy, if you like, was that some strong and deliberate input now would shake you from a kind of torpor that envelops your work, that prevents you from seeing how it might be and why it must be a different kind of writing in which you invest from the one that you have thus far seemed set upon investing in, and make what follows time well spent. Thus far the strategy hasn't succeeded, so I need to turn to you, to ask you to take the time to consider why this hasn't happened and how it might, to have you take more responsibility for your work than just to agree to submit something by such and such a date each month -- bearing in mind that the commitment was to do that in a manner and according to a standard that we agree is worthy of submission for a thesis. I know that you don't want to write flaccidly but just to keep saying that you'll try to do better isn't, frankly, good enough. We have repeatedly pushed you to respond in ways that show you are engaging on another level with your subject matter and those pieces of writing that we've discussed together but repeatedly your tendency is just to say that you agree, that you understand, that okay, you'll do this or that, all of which are like the "do better" line empty of contents.

The problem isn't one of quantitative improvement, it's one of how you find your way to a completely different outlook about what you're doing and why from the one that you have presently. We've tired ourselves out, Carly and I, trying to get you to that place and increasingly just telling you that's what you have to do and at this juncture I need to hear from you how you think we might proceed: and that's not to say, just get the next draft of whichever chapter to me by whatever date, because I'm not going to read any more drafts until the terms of engagement, such as they are, have been reset, and the possibility of resetting depends, ultimately, on you.

So take some time to think things over. As much as you need. Then, and only then, write me an account, an outline, of how we might proceed. If I see enough evidence in that of retrospection, reconsideration and reevaluation of your project and your stance towards it we'll talk again.

On your part, why are you not addressing the concerns from your supervisor? Can't you provide some sort of plan or flow chart indicating what the next few weeks are going to look like for fixing the stuff being mentioned?
