The thing that pisses me off most about fuel prices is the companies say that a reduction can only take place when a new batch is incoming to the station, as that fuel was bought at a different price. Yet, when the oil price spikes, it is put up immediately.

Thing that pisses me off it could have been avoided along woth a lot of shortages had the west not provoked yet another avoidable war

After that clamping down on oil production even more definitely didn’t help things

I am all for environmental protection blah blah blah but folks are choosing between gas and food, cant feed babies, can’t seem to find decent jobs, can’t buy homes or afford rent…too many insecurities currently and it isn’t just America.

my only contention would be 'this is 100% absolutely some american bullshit', it's just that the scope of who gets to experience that insecurity has been gradually widening over the last 40 years. and that trend will not reverse in our lifetime.

Global supply chains ad prices affect everyone

The baby formula thing is only America
The fact companies are buying homes en masse so people cannot own them due to price inflation is also an Americans specific thing.

We just let one of the caregivers use my parents trailer for free due to the house she was staying at getting sold. Plus it helps us all having extra eyes given we do not live in the best area and cannot afford to move. She is single so it works for her not sure itd work for a family. Housing insecurity has been an issue in cali as has increased crime for years its migrating to areas not used to it and finally getting to a point even mainstream media is talking about it.

Best thing we can all do is try to help each other where we can because its about to get a lot worse.
