had a bunch of dates over july-august, nothing panned out

slowly trying to psych myself up to uninstall my entire game library to force myself into being productive with respect to music

busy weekends now and before and also upcoming. this helps to distract from the general sense of terror surrounding my impending 40th

need to dial back the alcool intake and get serious about dropping some weight before the cold months come

could be better, could be a whole lot worse

Found a gym on my route to work and I have the hope that this will work. I had twelve workouts in august!
All hardware has died I have only this dumb litte phone now. Much less screen time, keeping this up to give my eyes and shoulders a break.
Got a raise, staying with this job to find out if I will or will not strangle someone this autumn.

Back to 0500 AM workouts 4 days a week. 30 minutes to 1 hour. Kettlebell, dumbbell, body weight and yoga. My gym membership's 2 year period is over and not renewing it, plenty of ways to work out at home. I really feel a lot better after 2 weeks of this regiment already.

Back to intermittent fasting as well - I have more energy throughout the day and feel a lot less craving for sugar and bad shit altogether. Just a 16/8 fast where the 16 hours of not eating is at night/during sleep.
Latest autophagy in combination with fasting studies are very interesting.

More guitar playing since I'm back from vacation.

More jiu jitsu, more training with friends, sometimes an entire day of training and practising techniques.

Just trying to live a good life right now, and do my best to keep it that way.

It coulf be sleep apnea

Does it feel scratchy? Like you need copious amounts of water? Worse in the morning better in evening?

Or does it burn and you feel like you need to cough or burp all the time?

Also does sitting up, not laying down help?

It sounds like you have a lump in your throat (globus sensation). If that's the case I had that for a while years ago. Everyone is different, but it went away for me when I found ways to reduce stress and stopped occasionally smoking. I think I took caffeine out of my diet too.

In other depressing MABB health news I had major heartburn the other day (literally pounding the wall in pain) and vomited up a lot of black coagulated blood the next day from it. I went back on a PPI, which is not a bad thing, but the side effects suck and it isn't a long term solution. Another trip to the gastroenterologist is probably in order. I was supposed to get another upper endoscopy a few years ago anyway.

Hope you get better.

it is worse in the morning but the consistency is weird, sometimes it's bad, sometimes it's not. not scratchy or burning. literally just a globus sensation like paste said. i do cough a lot which i think is from reflux, i cough after eating pretty often. maybe i need to look into some kind of low acid diet or something.

I was just in the grocery store the cashier and begger kid were talking about music. The begger kid said five finger death punch was his favorite band and how they are used to be heavier and how they are “death metal”. Also, Failing in Reverse was discussed. I promptly made my exit while trying not to laugh.

I was wearing my asphyx shirt. I wanted to say ask him if five finger is death metal what does that make asphyx then and watch his head explode. :metavag:

i used to be really judgemental about it but now i don't care. if they like ffdp or whatever that's cool, at least it's something slightly different i guess.

I have no issues with them liking ffdp. My issue is them thinking it’s actually death metal. Like, the internet exists and takes 5 seconds to lookup a band and their genre, similar/in the ballpark. No music journalists are referring to them as death metal. It’s all of their own making.

EU and the Netherlands is going down the drain fast.
The energy and gas prices are just insane. 10x higher gas costs next year, so many businesses and civilians are going to go bankrupt.
I'm praying for some miracle where we'll be able to survive 2023. And the most horrible thing, is that this is all planned - thanks to the people in power who are not democratically chosen in EU and WEF.
"If we can't beat China, we need to become like China."

If NL is not going to leave the EU, we'll be FUCKED.

if you throw out the US, you can trade with russia again. good luck with that, all the "missing" guns that were sent to ukraine went to establish new stay-behind networks across western europe to keep the security services gainfully employed, and the elected establishment in line. gladio terrorism is back, baby
