You previously also saw plausibility in China invading Russia. Because of that, any analysis you provide is automatically suspect. Anyway, in case you're seriously open-minded here, some facts for you:

China's military budget is presently the second largest in the world, which equates to 26% of the US military budget, and in ten years, at the rate of growth of their military spending, this will rise to half of the US military budget. That looks like an advantage in favor of the US, until you observe that the American resources comprising that huge budget are dispersed not in anyone one region in particular, but all over the world, from the Middle East to Europe to Latin America, including of course, home territory. A substantial share of the US budget also goes to support a number of wasteful projects, such as the trillion-dollar plus F-35.

The Chinese resources on the other hand will not be dispersed across the world, they will be concentrated entirely on the fight on their door-step, which is going to provide home-turf advantage. Meanwhile the US is going to have to pursue an expensive logistics operation far from their own land which will make it expensive and difficult to sustain.

We have now also learned from the Ukraine war that while the US was investing heavily on fancy projects, they neglected some basics, like ammunition and bombs. Go look it up, the US doesn't have the production lines set up to sustain the consumption in Ukraine.

It's not a war the US would win or profit from. Let China have Taiwan and enjoy your livelihood in peace.
