sink has been clogged and i've been ignoring it, then yesterday i used a sulfuric acid opener and learned very quickly that was not the right move
i ran some water to clear it before i went to sleep and the sink was empty this morning. then i realized there was a drip through the ceiling downstairs so i'm thinking the acid may have destroyed some pipe seals
just call a plumber and don't be a dumbass like me
99% of the time a hair removal stick and some vinegar+baking soda will do the trick. If they’re pvc pipes they are actually pretty easy to replace, just need the correct measurements and sizing.
Only times I’ve had to call a plumber is when the clog is further down or in the main line. Had to get a hard-on bearer to run 50+ feet of augur down my washing machine drain to unclog it once.
