His health started to rapidly deteriorate and after having him at the emergency vet for a couple of days things weren't improving....

He just turned 19 a couple of weeks ago, had him for 18 years - which was most of my life as an adult. Merlin :tear:

Thanks. I have two other pets and despite that it’s been so quiet in the house without him. It’s been hard, I called out of work for a few days because fuck it.

very sorry to hear lummo, 19 is an incredible run, i bet he was the best

my old lady cat is nearing 21 this year and i know we're on borrowed time, it's never long enough

I still dream of the cats and it's been years. I take it as a gift, for a short while it feels just how it used to be. May Merlin come to you in your dreams ;)
