that album is hardly underrated. for example, just look at every burzum tribute album out there. half the time, half the songs are from DSEV

Burzum tributes sound like fail waiting to happen.

And I say underrated because whenever people are saying their favourite Burzum album, most seem to either say Hvis Lysset Tar Oss or Filosofem. I like all four, and would consider DSEV in particular to definitely be in the same league as HLTO and F.

from what i gather. that's the general consensus among burzum fans (me included). they're all equally good, the only difference is if you're emotionally more attached to a particular album (HLTO in my case)... or at least that's what i got from speaking to burzum fans here and there

and yes, burzum tributes are generally full of fail.

i prefer Tomhet to Et Hvitt Lys Over Skogen, although he could have included both

smitten? no. but i still love it almost as much as Filosofem and HLTO and DSEV.. and i like it a bit more than the s/t. it could've been even better without Svarddans (good song, but it interrupts the flow of the album

)
