There is a theory that the first earthly amino acids came to be in chemical reactions from lightning strikes to the sea from volcanic ash.



I love volcanic lightning photos. There is very little, insofar as home-planet photography, as epic.

Amino acids literally fall from the sky on one of Saturn's moons, Titan. :interessant:

They really need to send some sort of specialized submersible over there to dive in, collect data, pop out and trasmit!

ESA already did, the Huygens probe. Batteries ran out 90 minutes after landing though. :oldryan:
